Make Plans Now to Attend Christmas at Tucker

For many years, Christmas at Tucker has been recognized for presenting the Christmas story in a fresh, beautiful and inspiring way. The program, presented by Tucker First United Methodist Church and friends, is an annual gift to the Tucker community given freely – at no cost. With a powerful choir, soloists, and orchestra, the production is an exciting and inspiring evening of the Christmas message. Last year over 1,200 persons were witnesses to the amazing performances.

Already, this year’s production has blessed and touched the singers, soloists, and musicians in very deep and moving ways. From the first notes in choir practice, people have felt the power of the Holy Spirit moving in them as never before. They know that they are going to be part of something extraordinary and be blessed.

This year the featured work will be Hodie by Ralph Vaughan Williams. This major work for choir and orchestra will feature professional soloists Lisa Barksdale, Dr. Bruce Schoonmaker, and Keith Dover. The production will also include the Intermediate Choir from the Georgia Boy Choir led by Artistic Director and Conductor, David R. White.

The production will be presented on Saturday, December 8 at 7:00 pm and also on Sunday, December 9 at 6:00 pm. Complimentary tickets will be available starting November 11 at 3:00 pm on this website.

Each person can order a maximum of six tickets. You are encouraged to order enough to share with your family, friends, co- workers etc. You may order the tickets from this website or go to the church on Sundays starting November 11 and pick them up between worship services (9:30 - 11:00 am and 12:00 pm - 12:30 pm) in the Gathering Area adjacent to the main Sanctuary.
